    49. General remarks on Level 4 - General remarks on Level 4

At Level 4, you have two jobs: you're a farmer and a slaughterhouse manager.
When you get to Level 4, you're given a breeding assignment (like the ones you had at Level 3) and a slaughterhouse assignment. The two make up one of the 3 steps you need to complete to go on to Level 5.
You have to finish both assignments before being allowed to move on to the next step.

The slaughterhouse assignments at Level 4 are:
    - producing 300.5 tons of carcasses
    - producing 342.4 tons of lard
    - producing 260.3 tons of dried blood (to make blood sausage).

The breeding assignments are the same as those at Level 3.

With each slaughterhouse assignment, you're provided with "Assembly instructions" telling you which machines and parts you need to buy. Once you've bought and assembled them (they get installed automatically on purchase), your production line is operational and you're ready to start.

You can buy the pigs matching your assignment criteria on the market. You have to select them well according to their weight and fat level. Pigs of the same type are kept together. You can buy several pigs at a time. But of course, you cannot buy your own pigs: they're sold to the Funnypigs cooperative. Prices vary according to the pig market and are published daily in the Gazette.

Warning: Once at the slaughterhouse, the pigs can't be fed anymore. So you have about 48 hours to process them. Otherwise they die and become unfit for human consumption. They are disposed of and you need to buy some more.
