    26. The Alley - The Alley

    It's Funnypigs' darkest corner.
In the Alley, between 8pm and 8am GMT hides Funnypigs' most sought-after criminal.

Dealing in weevils, rats, crows, stress bombs and corn borers, he sells them to whoever's willing to pay. But beware, the more he sells, the lower his stock is and the higher prices are.

You can only buy one type of product a day and daily quantities are limited too.
Whenever farmers are attacked, they're given a clue on the "Events" page: the first 4 letters of the assailant's screen name.

    You were attacked:
If you fall prey to an attack, click on the 4 letters indicated to you: Funnypigs' detective will help you find out who it is by listing all the farmers' screen names matching these 4 letters.
If you're only given a 3-letter clue, then it means that your assailant's screen name contains only
3 letters. No need to be a Sherlock then! You can fight back immediately...

    Attacks:
In order to use these bonuses, you need to fulfill certain prerequisites: your pig, sow or breeding boar must be alive and you must have at least 60 points.
NB: the Level 5 growers only need 60 points.
But if you get attacked first, you don't need to have 60 points to hit back - as long as you do it on the day you were attacked. You are allowed to fight back once per attack.

Note that players with less than 30 points are protected by Funnypigs' Town Hall: a farmer cannot launch an attack against them and they're protected against natural disasters too (randomized penalty).

    Weevils
They only feed on wheat, but they can contaminate a whole field and therefore ruin your harvest. To get rid of them, the only weapon at your disposal is the insecticide. But don't wait too long to disinfect your field or you might end up with nothing to harvest: weevils have a big appetite. If you want to buy some weevils, go to the Alley and choose your victim. The attack is instantaneous! A field cannot be attacked more than once a day. If you try, your weevils will be wasted.
    Rats
Rats that haven't eaten for several days mostly attack vitamins, seeds and cereals stored in barns and granaries. When you buy rats, they're given to you in a cage and automatically placed in your barn. To use them, go to the Alley and choose your victim. The number between brackets tells you how many bags of seeds and cereals and how many vitamins are stored in your victim's barn and granary. The attack is instantaneous! Rats can devour all of the products or half of them depending on whether the barn is protected by rat poison or not and its efficiency level. If your victim's barn is protected by fresh poison, your rats are killed and your attack fails.
Crows Crows only attack sunflower fields. If you want to buy some, go to the Alley and choose your victim and the field you want to attack. The attack is instantaneous! A field cannot be attacked more than once a day. If you try, your crows will be wasted. A scarecrow is the only known protection against crow attacks.
Corn borers Corn borers only attack corn fields. If you want to buy some, go to the Alley and choose your victim and the field you want to attack. The attack is instantaneous! A field cannot be attacked more than once a day. If you try, your corn borers will be wasted.
    Stress bombs
Stress bombs are deadly weapons. They're the products of the dealer's twisted imagination! Such a bomb can put a pig off its food! It gets so scared that it just cannot eat (and doesn't put on weight). The pig is so stressed out that it gets paralyzed. This usually lasts 24 hours during which it doesn't eat, doesn't fill the slurry pit and gets dirty. Stress bombs are planted in some bonuses (the vet visit, the bag of food, the soap and the vitamin) the same way a virus attaches itself to a host to infect a computer. When the victim clicks on the infected bonus, the stress bomb explodes and the pig is paralyzed. It is the most vicious bonus in Funnypigs as it can be sold at the market, which means it can become totally anonymous.
But not everyone can use a stress bomb (phew!). Would-be assailants need to fulfill certain prerequisites: their pig must be fed, clean, healthy; their slurry pit must be empty; at least one of their fields must have been sown 48 hours prior to the attack; and there musn't be any crows, weevils, corn borers or rats in their barn.
Health and safety inspections If you think a farmer mistreats his/her pig or sow and/or that his/her farm is poorly maintained, you can request a health and safety inspection. If the farmer fails the inspection, he/she will be fined. The amount is proportional to the number of days during which his/her pig or sow wasn't fed or cleaned (for example: 15 Kekos x 2 days).
Inspectors will fine farmers whose pig/sow has been neither fed nor cleaned for at least 24 hours provided they didn't already get inspected on that day: farmers can't be inspected more than once a day. If the farmer fails the inspection you requested, you'll get a 6-Keko reward. Health and safety inspections can be neither sold nor bought at the market.
