test -Funnypigs? What's that all about?

Funnypigs is a pig-breeding simulation game, which is much more advanced than a mere Tamagotchi since it spans the whole industry.

Players own a fully-operational farm complete with a livestock building, a barn and at least one field.
Players start at Level 1 with a pig that needs to be fed, cleaned and treated when it's sick. Their field(s) must be sown, harvested, etc. The pig must reach 110kg before players are allowed to move on to the 2nd level of the game, which has 5 levels in total.
To go from Level 2 to Level 3, players must increase their pig's weight to 180kg.
To go from Level 3 to Level 4, players must complete 2 set assignments. They get to own a sow, inseminate it and then care for litters of different breeds.
To go from Level 4 to Level 5, players have to take on another role: on top of being a farmer, they are in charge of a slaughterhouse. They have to buy machines and look after them if they don't want their production line to stop. They have to select and buy pigs at the market according to their assignment requirements.
When they finally reach Level 5, players get to choose between specializing in boar breeding, farming or in the butcher's trade and make blood sausage, pork chops, pate, etc. out of the carcasses bought from slaughterhouses.

As players move on to higher levels, the game becomes harder, demanding greater accuracy.

It's a daily smell-free job! Funnypigs is a "short" game. It only requires 2 to 4 minutes a day. That's the time you need to feed your pig, manage your farm, send a few messages to other farmers, sell or/and buy at the market, pop into the Café. Day in day out... it's hard to be a farmer in Funnypigs!

FUNNYPIGS is a FREE game. It was put on-line by Olivier COUDRE and Ludovic SARRAZIN on 21 October 2002 based on an original concept by Ludovic SARRAZIN.

Funnypigs is constantly changing. Daily upgrades keep it alive. Since it was launched, Level 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 were greatly improved upon thanks to players' ideas.
The game is almost solely supported by those players who buy Kekos (Funnypigs' virtual currency).
Indeed a website demands a lot of technical resources such as servers, an important bandwidth, etc.
You don't have to buy Kekos of course, but it can give you more room for manoeuvre when managing your farm. Anyway, the game was designed so that you don't have to buy Kekos - as long as you manage your farm sensibly!

Buying Kekos is a way of supporting the game, its further developments and its continuity. To say this in plain English, the more Kekos you buy, the more likely the game is to last.
